ABOUT vee
Vee is a community-rooted cultural worker, facilitator, and creative from St. Croix, now based in Richmond, Virginia. She moved to the city at age 13. Over the years she’s been devoted to weaving healing, justice, and ancestral wisdom into the everyday lives of those around her. Vee’s work lives at the intersection of storytelling, collective care, and spiritual practice—offering spaces where people can feel seen, softened, and strengthened.
As a trauma-informed yoga teacher trained through Humble Haven Yoga and BareSOUL Yoga’s Mindful on Life Fellowship, Vee integrates breathwork, movement, and mindfulness into her work—not as the center, but as one of many doorways into healing. Her true calling is in circle-keeping, guiding community gatherings, creative workshops, and healing spaces that explore memory, identity, and belonging. Whether she’s facilitating a conversation about legacy, holding space for grief, or leading a creative ritual rooted in culture and care, Vee brings deep presence and fierce tenderness to her work.
Her sessions are infused with the sounds of home, the wisdom of Black womanist theology, and the belief that creativity is a form of resistance. She often draws inspiration from her Caribbean roots, her love for justice and reading, and her longing for a world where everyone has a soft place to land. Vee believes in preserving joy as much as she believes in holding complexity—and she is always dreaming of ways to help others reconnect to their full, unfiltered selves.
When she’s not working, she’s most alive when by the water, when witnessing others step into their truth, and when building something sacred with her community.
